In the Fall of 2011 Butler Ford partnered with Shawn Adams, professional videographer and die-hard Ford Mustang fan, to turn Shawn’s 1967 Mustang Convertible into a Shelby Mustang. Only one true Shelby Mustang convertible was ever made… Shawn and the guys in the Butler Body Shop (Guy, George, Thad and Rob) aim to recreate it.
IT’S DONE, IT’S DONE, IT’S DONE!! As of today, Wednesday, December 19, 2012, when Shawn put the final touch – the rear Shelby emblem – on the car, we can finally say the project is complete. WOOHOO!! The Shelby’s now on display in the Butler Ford showroom. Shawn’s chomping at the bit to take it out on the road… but is willing to wait for the rain and snow to clear up. Stay tuned for a professional photo shoot and documentary video. Until then, here are some pics for your enjoyment.
